Mate, can’t get enough of this joint. Eaten here a couple of times and just gotta say everything on the menu is tip top. Was even stoked with the pate with toast, sounded heaps weird aye, but tasted beaut. Solid.

"From the late 1970’s to 1993 one could say I was a regular at The East Sydney Hotel (TESH). During my many visits to Sydney if one asked Trish or Harald, had they seen me they would respond “he drinks here” as they would say of any regular; Oopie and Bill comes to mind. My last visit to TESH was mid January 1993 for 5 weeks when I was retiring from the US Army. I stayed in one of the hotel rooms that 5 weeks and I felt at home. This year, 2009, I am about to retire a second time and after 16 year I am looking forward to another visit to the TESH for some great beer, conversation, and food.
